90 minutes of free and guided movement with an experienced dance teacher and accredited dance and movement therapist. Be creative, find freedom in movement and mind.
No dance experience necessary - it’s not about mastery of skill, it’s about mastery of yourself.

Shake out
Take the everyday niggles and turn them into movement.
Let them go, throw them away, put them in their place.
Indulge in
Find the movement that works for you in the moment. Remember why you are such a great person. Make shapes to represent all the things you love and dwell on all the good stuff.
Relax the mind
Get mindless as you spend 90 minutes not thinking about work, the shopping, cleaning, bills....
Energise the soul
Connect with others, learn about yourself, clean out the bad stuff and let in the good.

Move your body, treat your soul

Soul gesture delivers support for rehabilitation, recovery, neurodiversity and mental health. Using dance and movement group and individual sessions support people to process and express emotions and connect with others. Sessions create an inclusive, non-judgmental space to find and practice different ways of being and self-regulation.

Through movement we find joy, we increase our emotional, physical and cognitive capacities and become more confident humans.

By strengthening the mind-body connection, we can unravel and understand ourselves, why we feel and act the way we do and how we can take control of our reactions.

Dance and movement therapy is for anyone regardless of physical limitations or previous dance experience. There is no right or wrong way to move, we dance for ourselves.

Individual therapy sessions harness the power of dance and movement to explore and express emotions, reduce stress, and cultivate a deeper connection between mind and body.

Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual at that time, fostering personal growth and emotional resilience.
In group therapy sessions, participants engage in therapeutic movement and dance activities that encourage mutual support, empathy, and self-expression. Through shared experiences and creative expression, individuals in the group develop a sense of community and belonging, promoting emotional healing and well-being.
Jen can work with your service to deliver specialised dance and movement therapy programs for specific populations.
Examples include those recovering from trauma, rehabilitating from adverse events such as TBI, neurodiverse populations, and those seeking support for eating disorders.
All programs are co-designed to address the unique emotional and psychological needs of the specific population, fostering empowerment and resilience.
