Dance Therapy in Aged Care
Dance & movement therapy can increase quality of life for the ageing population, addressing physical and mental health concerns by bringing joy, connection and confidence.
Using props and music DMT creates a space for participants to explore emotions and memories, experience different ways of moving, gain mastery and self-efficacy and strengthen the mind-body connection.
Regardless of what physical limitations people have, we can find a way to move together and celebrate what people CAN do.

Group (up to 10 participants) sessions are usually 45-75 minutes long while individual sessions are usually 30-45 minutes. Sessions can be mostly or entirely seated / laying down depending on the ability and preferences of the participants.
