Dance & movement therapy for Neurodiversity
Soul Gesture, provides dance and creative arts therapy to neurodiverse and intellectually disabled individuals. Sessions are playful, sensory-aware, and emotionally safe—supporting self-expression, regulation, and connection through movement.

Dance and creative arts therapy helps participants:
-
Explore emotions and sensations without words
-
Tell stories through movement and play
-
Build confidence and body awareness
-
Strengthen social and communication skills
-
Regulate the nervous system through rhythm and repetition
-
Experience joy, creativity, and autonomy in a non-judgmental space

Whether you're supporting someone with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, or other cognitive differences, our approach is inclusive, trauma-informed, and tailored to each person’s unique way of moving through the world. The possibilities are endless.

Verbal processing is optional.
Soul Gesture can provide a specialised dance program for your school or support organisation.

Rebellious dance for rebellious minds
If you would like to dance but don't feel ready to join a dance class yet, Soul Gesture can help. Sessions are led by you with your goals in mind.
We can take a specific dance style as the foundation for sessions (ballet, jazz and Flameno are popular) or use improvisation and props to explore possibilities and empower you to find your own ways of moving.
